About Us
Established in 2014
Wow, can you believe that the 2024 NWI Comic-Con (NWICC) will be our 10th Year! Time does fly when you’re having fun. Let’s keep the success going and keep this premier Northwest Indiana comic book convention growing. No matter if you are six or sixty, you are sure to have a great time at the NWICC!

Affordable Admission and Free Parking
We strive to keep the NWICC family friendly, affordable and fun. Our 2023 show brought in over 4,000+ attendees. We were honestly expecting lower attendance due to the pandemic - but fans of this event showed up in droves to show support and celebrate their fandoms. We always offer advance online ticket sales to get you in the door faster as well as ticket purchasing available at the show on the day of the event with multiple lines for cash and credit to keep the lines moving.

Food and Snack Items at Affordable Prices
We like to keep things affordable and this includes the food and snacks offered every year. Located by the cosplay stage, this is a great place to rest your feet and grab a bite to eat. Our 2023 food and snack vendors included; Tavern on Main Craft Bar and Eatery, The Roaming Wedge Food Truck, Steamwhistle Coffee Roasters..

About The NWI Comic-Con
My name is Brian Grabinski and I am the founder and Showrunner of the Northwest Indiana Comic-Con (aka; NWICC). I’ve personally been attending comic book conventions for over 30 years. I’m a big nerd and I’m not afraid admit it.
My passion for comics, art, and pop-culture has been showcased for the past six years at every NWICC I have hosted.
My love for the comic culture and everything related has also influenced a lot of my family and friends. All three of my kids and a handful of fantastic friends pitch in and help out every year.
I would also like to mention that even though I may be the face of the NWICC my wife Kelly Grabinski does a ton of work behind the scenes. Without her continued help and support the NWICC never would have evolved into the fan-favorite event it’s become today.
So if you attend our next show, see us at a local comic shop, coffee house or at another comic book convention - never hesitate to say hi! We look forward to meeting you.
Stay nerdy my friends,
-Brian Grabinski
